Residents and interested community members are invited to provide feedback on initial ideas to improve Veirs Mill Road and surrounding areas as part of Montgomery Planning’s Veirs Mill Corridor Master Plan. The community is invited to learn about and give feedback on: Pedestrian &bicycle safety; Connectivity; Access to transit & community facilities; Improvements to the streetscape
Planners will share initial ideas for near-term and long-term improvements on Veirs Mill Road. These initial ideas, which include improved sidewalks, bicycle paths and safe crossings, seek to integrate community feedback to date, as well as preliminary recommendations of the Bicycle Master Plan and Montgomery County’s Vision Zero Policy.
