SUMMARY:5th Annual "I Bird\, I Vote" Conservation Summit
DESCRIPTION:5th Annual “I Bird\, I Vote” Conservation Summit  \nSaturday\, February 29 \nPatuxent National Wildlife Visitor Center\, 12311 Beech Forest Rd\, Laurel\, MD 20708 \nThe recently published Audubon Birds and Climate Report details how climate change will impact North America’s birds. Two-thirds of North American birds are at risk of extinction from global temperature rise. \nThe report is a call to action. Audubon Maryland-DC invites you to take action with us at the 5th annual “I Bird\, I Vote” Conservation Summit\, which will be held on Saturday\, February 29 at the Patuxent National Wildlife Visitor Center in Laurel\, MD. Registration information will be available after January 1. \nThe theme for the 2020 summit is “Partnering on Climate for People and Birds.” The summit is designed to attract a wide audience of people interested in climate action and bird conservation. Speakers from Audubon and our partner organizations will provide brief presentations to help engage participants in actions that benefit people and birds. \nThank you for supporting the conservation work of Audubon Maryland-DC. \nFor more information\, visit https://md.audubon.org/
