DESCRIPTION:Weed Warrior Event\nSunday\, March 8  •  1 – 4 pm \nWe’re excited to announce that WEED WARRIORS is coming to the City of Rockville parks! A group of volunteers is forming to help the City of Rockville remove invasive plant species from city parks in the Watts Branch\, Rock Creek\, and Cabin John watersheds. A website is being developed to announce future events and provide additional information\, including instructions for students on obtaining SSL hours. \nFor now\, please email Chuck Woolery at chuck@igc.org for further information\, or to receive weather cancellation updates about events you plan to attend. Volunteers should wear long sleeves and pants\, sturdy shoes\, and bring a water bottle.
