DESCRIPTION:The Lands Green Waters Clean Native Plant Sale is now open! Dozens of species of native plants are ready to find a home in your yard – and as a supporter of the Muddy Branch Alliance – you have exclusive access to order any and all of them for the next 48 hours. Don’t delay! Last year\, we sold out very quickly. \nAll plants are $7 each. There is a minimum order of (3) plants\, but there is no maximum limit. \nPayment is made online\, and all plants will need to be picked up on May 1st at the Izaak Walton League’s offices in Gaithersburg\, MD so please plan & order accordingly. DESCRIPTION:Join us as we “Meet the Watersheds” of Montgomery County and the groups that are working to keep them clean and healthy.\n\n\nNOTE: This event rescheduled from Thursday\, March 25\, to Wednesday\, April 21.\n\n  \n \nThis graphic shows the process of water entering the watershed. When it rains\, all of the water drains to one body of water. It falls on land and travels to a stream and eventually a river that empties into a lake or ocean. Water also soaks into the ground to add to groundwater and underground rivers.  \nBy protecting our watersheds and preventing pollution\, we help secure our quality of life and reduce the costs of government cleanup programs.
