DESCRIPTION:Blue Planet Scuba Fall Litter Cleanup – Peirce Mill\nSunday\, November 28\, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm \nPeirce Mill at 2401 Tilden St NW\, Washington\, DC 20008 \nRock Creek Conservancy\, the National Park Service\, and Stream Team Leader Jonas Furberg of Blue Planet Scuba invite you to help us clean up Rock Creek! \nTrash is the visible form of stormwater pollution\, a threat to our precious parklands and waterways. By reducing pollution on land\, we decrease the chance of it entering our creek\, rivers\, and larger bodies of water through stormwater runoff. \nThank you for helping to protect the Rock Creek watershed! \n  \nActivity: Volunteers will participate in a socially-distant trash cleanup. \nPlease register yourself and each member of your group INDIVIDUALLY. For the health and safety of our volunteers and leaders we cannot accept walk-ups or any groups that do not have all members registered. Thank you for keeping us all safe this cleanup season! \nREGISTER HERE \nWhen: Sunday\, November 28th from 10 AM to 12 PM \nWhere: Volunteers will meet near Peirce Mill\, located on Tilden Ave NW. Parking is available in an adjacent lot. \nWhat to Wear: Please dress appropriately for the work and weather. We recommend wearing long sleeves and sturdy boots or sneakers. \nWhat to Bring: Please bring your own gloves if you can!
