DESCRIPTION:Join OMG\, DEP and Montgomery Parks in recognizing the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr by participating in our MLK Plogging Challenge!\n\n\nPlogging means picking up litter while jogging or walking. This is an individual volunteer opportunity allowing safe clean ups during the ongoing pandemic. DESCRIPTION:Join us for the next EcoHour on January 18\, 2022 with Tracey Lewis\, Policy Counsel at Public Citizen! \nTracey Lewis is one of three Policy Counsels in the Climate Group at Public Citizen\, where she works at the intersection of climate finance and financial regulatory policy. Tracey is an alumna of Spelman College and Vermont Law School. Most recently\, Tracey was named to the second cohort of fellows at the groundbreaking climate and community project – which was the incubator for developing the Green New Deal – and was initially based at the University of Pennsylvania’s McHarg Center at the Weitzman School of Design. \nAdditionally\, Tracey has an extensive background as a Democratic campaign strategist and operative in local\, state\, and federal races with women candidates like Hillary Clinton 2016\, Elizabeth Warren 2012\, and Stephanie Rawlings-Blake 2011.
