DESCRIPTION:You (and Your Congregation) are Invited! \nCONGREGATIONS: You and your congregation are invited to attend the “Climate Solutions for Congregations: Bridging Spiritual Wisdom and Environmental Stewardship\,“ in partnership with the Montgomery County Office of Community Partnerships (OCP)\, the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection (DEP)\, and fellow faith groups across the County. Sunday\, October 13\, 2-6pm Maryland-National Capital Park & Planning Commission (MNCPPC) 2425 Reedie Drive in Wheaton Montgomery County’s diverse faith communities have a critical role to play in achieving the county’s Climate Action Plan. \nDuring this event\, we will recognize the County’s green congregations\, discuss lessons learned by those undertaking green initiatives in County congregations\, connect with County programs and resources\, and break bread together in fellowship. Wherever your congregation is on the journey of environmental action\, you’ll leave inspired to deepen your efforts\, in partnership with neighbors of many traditions.  Please RSVP by Monday\, October 1st
