DESCRIPTION:Celebrate with us at the\n2026 Conservation Montgomery Annual Meeting \nNov. 6th at 6 pm  •  Silver Spring Civic Center \n(NOTE: Change in meeting location this year as above.) \nWith County Executive Marc Elrich \nRecipient of the 2026 Joe Howard Environmental Award \nAnd guest speakers Royce Hanson and Joe Howard. \nThe CM annual meeting is a celebration\, a chance to network with like-minded county residents and honor our County Executive Marc Elrich as the recipient of the Joe Howard Environmental Award. Read about Marc’s environmental accomplishments in our next notice about the meeting. A press release about the County Climate Action Plan is here. \nAs always\, we’ll start with a networking reception at 6 pm with delicious food and beverages. Mix and mingle with others in the county who have your same interest in maintaining green communities. \nThere is paid public parking across the street from the Civic Center. We suggest a modest donation of $20 per person to help with the cost of food and beverages.
