SUMMARY:USGBC-NCR: Women in Green Breakfast - Transatlantic Perspectives
DESCRIPTION:USGBC-NCR: Women in Green Breakfast – Transatlantic Perspectives\nUSGBC National Capital Region \nThursday\, October 11\, 2018 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM (EDT) \nThe Army and Navy Club\, 901 17th Street NW\, \nWashington\, DC 20006 \nJoin the US Green Business Council – National Capital Region Community for our fall Women in Green Power Breakfast. Though a focus on women’s issues has continued to have a watershed moment within the U.S.\, USGBC-NCR is taking time to expand our viewpoint of this as global issue.  \nFor this event\, Women in Green is taking an international approach! Danish Ambassador to the U.S.\, Lars Gert Lose\, will join as a special guest alongside Mette Søs Lassesen of Ramboll for a ‘fireside chat.’ As Denmark is a leader in both sustainability and gender equality in the workplace\, this event will bring together thought leaders from our two countries together with the Community to discuss transatlantic perspectives on the subject.  \n We’re also creating a safe space to bring both men and women to the table for this discussion of different perspectives and opportunities.  A significant amount of time will be alloted for Q & A and networking in this event’s agenda. \nFor more information and to register: \nhttps://www.eventbrite.com/e/usgbc-ncr-women-in-green-breakfast-transatlantic-perspectives-tickets-50129935988
