DESCRIPTION:Now more than ever\, it is critical to train the next generation of outdoor leaders that will continue to educate the generations to come about the importance and beauty of our natural lands. \nThe Maryland Sierra Club Outings Leader Training will be an all-day event in which participants will learn how to plan Sierra Club Outings and respond to common occurrences. \nRegistration is required to attend. You must complete online training materials prior to the in-person training day. We’ll provide you with all the necessary details and support after you register. \nIf you want to attend but need assistance with transportation\, please let us know when you register. \nAdditional Requirements for Certification: \n\nYou must be 18 years or older.\nMust be or be willing to become a Sierra Club Member. Trees are unique amongst urban infrastructure\, in that over time\, they appreciate in both value and capacity.
