We will bestow the Joe Howard Environmental Award upon two youth groups\, the Eco Moco nonprofit and the Latin American Youth Center Conservation Corps. Our guest speaker this year is Maryland State Delegate Marc Korman\, (District 16) pictured at left. Delegate Korman will provide an overview of state environmental legislation. In 2023\, he was named chair of the Environment & Transportation Committee\, one of just six standing committees in the House. \nAs always\, we will begin with a networking reception at 6 pm\, with a buffet and beverages. It’s a great way to protect your personal information and help the planet! \nPaper shredding and recycling guidelines: \n\n\nLimit: Five paper bags or small boxes per vehicle of personal and confidential papers for shredding such as financial and legal documents\, receipts\, tax and medical records.\nPapers with staples or paper clips and envelopes with plastic windows are acceptable.\nPaper will be shredded on-site and then recycled. Please stay in your vehicle for safety and traffic flow.
