DESCRIPTION:Join DC EcoWomen on a boat tour led by the Anacostia Watershed Society to learn about the ecological and historical evolution of the Anacostia River and its surrounding communities. We will have a chance to observe how river habitat restoration and trash reduction projects have resulted in a rebound in wildlife populations and improved water quality. \nDate: Saturday\, August 9\, 2025 \nTime: 10 AM – 12 PM \nMeeting Location: Diamond Teague Park\, Ballpark Boathouse Boat Dock 100 Potomac Ave SE Near Navy Yard Metro \nWhat To Wear & Bring:Wear sunscreen\, a hat and weather appropriate clothing.
