DESCRIPTION:2022 Montgomery County Energy Summit \nAPRIL 5 – 6\, 2022  •  Virtual & Silver Spring Civic Center \n\n\nABOUT THE SUMMIT \n\n\n\n\nApril 5 will have In-Person and Digital opportunities to attend. \nApril 6 will be Digital only. \nIf you buy a Digital Admission ticket only\, you will not be allowed to enter the building. \n\n\nWe are excited to have in-person opportunities\, while also following closely with Montgomery County policy and requirements for the safety of our attendees and staff. Currently\, the County has a mask mandate which will be in effect during the Summit. \n_____________________________________ \n\nOver the past eight years\, the annual Montgomery County Energy Summit has offered cutting-edge education focused on the latest trends in green building\, energy efficiency\, renewable energy\, and related commercial\, multifamily\, and residential topics in Montgomery County. Our target audience includes building owners\, property managers\, developers\, energy contractors\, and other sustainability professionals working in Montgomery County and the larger DMV area. This event typically attracts 300+ attendees\, speakers\, and exhibitors. \nWe are thrilled to announce that our 2022 Summit will be a hybrid in-person and digital event! On April 5\, attendees will be able to join us in person at the metro-accessible Silver Spring Civic Building in downtown Silver Spring or online. On April 6\, educations sessions will be offered online\, followed in the late afternoon by an in-person happy hour. Both days will include breakout education sessions\, keynote and plenary speakers\, and the opportunity to connect with your colleagues through in-person networking. All education sessions will be approved for GBCI and AIA continuing education credits. Those attending day one at the Civic Building will also have access to our exhibitor area\, featuring leading energy-related products and services. \n​This year’s Summit will focus on Innovation in three topic areas: Technology Implementation\, Policy & Program Design\, and Creativity in Financing Projects.
