350 MoCo Climate, Music and Art Festival

Piney Branch Elementary School in Takoma Park

ONE MONTGOMERY GREEN WILL HAVE A TABLE AT THIS EVENT. STOP BY!

We will have an amazing display of ‘painted parachutes for the climate’ created by groups from across our County, plus climate art projects for adults and kids’ climate art activities. Enjoy a GREAT line up of music acts, highlighted by the D.C. Labor Chorus and including Son la Lucha and our own Jeff Weisner with NSO friends! We hope you can bring your kids and join us for a fun time where people from across the community can share some music, some food and some thoughts.

To address the root causes of the climate crisis, we have to tackle climate and environmental justice issues in our community. In line with that conviction, 350MoCo is working to build a diverse, multi-cultural coalition of groups across the County, that can join forces on climate and environmental issues. Our June 8 event is a fun first step towards using music and art to build the diverse community we need in order to be able to work together.

Help build our diversity within the fight for a green, clean, and more equitable Montgomery County!
