Join us Sunday 7\/6 for Weed Warriors!<\/h1>\n

We’ll meet at Malcolm King Park to remove invasive plants and learn about the native plants that are found there. Under the guidance of experienced Weed Warriors, we’ll pull out plants like multiflora rose, porcelain berry, and oriental bittersweet that crowd out the beautiful native plants and the wildlife they support.<\/p>\n

We will\u00a0not<\/strong>\u00a0be picking up litter this month. But, as always, there will be time to wander and enjoy the beauty of this gorgeous park after the event and have fun with other volunteers!<\/p>\n

When?<\/strong>\u00a0Sunday 7\/6 from 8am-10am<\/p>\n

Where?<\/strong>\u00a0Malcolm King Park at the School Drive Entrance. (Find the exact location in Google Maps\u00a0here<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

Important Info:<\/strong>\u00a0Wear long pants and sturdy shoes. Be aware that the plants can be thorny. All equipment will be provided.<\/p>\n

Want SSL Hours? No Problem!\u00a0<\/strong>Teenagers must wear the appropriate clothing, bring water and a snack, and be accompanied by an adult.<\/p>\n
