It’s Skill Share time again

Our 4th annual Skill Share is FREE and open to the public, showcasing Silver Spring Timebank members’ unique talents. Come have fun and learn something new for the New Year! Stay for an hour or even for two. Bring friends and family, and please share event details far and wide.

There will be six short talks plus a variety of exciting Q&A topics and demonstrations:

Talks include:

• Raising Your Credit Score
• The Eco-Friendly Kitty: How to Reduce Your Cat’s Carbon Footprint
• Transitioning to a Plant-based Diet
• Making a Living Working Remotely
• Create a Tribute Video on YouTube
• Making Effective Infographics

Q&A topics and demonstrations include:

• Ask a Recycling Expert
• Hand-made Photo Collages
• Career Counseling
• Garden and Wellness: Mindfulness through Gardening
• Aura Readings
• Car-buying Tactics

There will also be an on-site HELP desk for anyone who has questions about timebanking or using the hOurworld software for exchanges, and timebank applicants can receive same-day new member activation.
