350MoCo June Meeting: Topic—Racial Justice

Tuesday, June 30  •  7 pm

Our nation and our communities have been rocked over the last month by protests demanding justice for Black lives and an end to the structural racism that plagues our nation. 350MoCo is in strong support for the demands of the Movement for Black Lives, and our members have participated in local protests and actions. We believe that racial justice is climate justice. The forces that make Black communities targets of police violence also leave them vulnerable to climate impacts on their health and wealth.

Join us for a special meeting on Tuesday, June 30 to discuss 350.org’s commitment to racial justice. Dominique Thomas, Regional Coordinator for 350.org, will be joining us to share details of 350’s commitment, and how we can continue this essential work.

We will also share details of our campaigns for a local Green New Deal and for action on fossil fuel divestment.
