Leaders in Energy Circular Economy Working Group 

Wednesday, February 24th, from 6-8 pm 

Our January 27th Circular Economy Working Group (CEWG) met with Stephanie Miller, author of Zero Waste Living, The 80/20 Way: The Busy Person’s Guide To A Lighter Footprint. She highlighted key areas where people could make a difference in reducing food and other waste which contribute to carbon emissions. She encouraged everyone to do just one thing to make a difference.

We also recently learned about the Platform for Accelerating the Circular Economy (PACE) which recently announced its new Action Agenda on Food, Textiles, Plastics, Electronics, and Capital Equipment. PACE was created in 2018 by the World Economic Forum and is now hosted by the World Resources Institute. PACE is facilitated by a full-time team in The Hague, Netherlands.
