Board Member – Ed Murtagh is a Registered Professional Mechanical Engineer. Mr. Murtagh has extensive experience in sustainable construction and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) building practices, including energy management, indoor air quality, biobased products, waste minimization & recycling, and environmentally beneficial landscaping. Mr. Murtagh had focused on significantly reducing operations and maintenance costs by implementing sustainable practices. Since retiring from the federal government, Mr. Murtagh has been actively involved with local watershed groups and One Montgomery Green.
