SAPPlings Webinar: Artificial Turf Trouble at Our Schools & Playgrounds

SPEAKER:

Kathleen Michels has a Ph.D. in neurobiology and more than 30 years of experience in biomedical research related to global public health. She and her Safe Healthy Playing Fields (www.safehealthyplayingfields.org) and Sierra Club Maryland Chapter colleagues have addressed plastic pollution in general and plastic synthetic turf field and waste tire playground carpeting in particular for more than a decade. Kathy is a member of the Board of Directors of One Montgomery Green.
