One Montgomery Green (OMG) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization formed in 2017 through the merger of GreenWheaton, Inc. (GW) and Silver Spring Green, Inc. (SSG). Our mission is to drive Montgomery County’s shift toward a sustainable economy, champion environmental responsibility among businesses, residents, and government, and enhance the quality of life for all county residents. Every OMG initiative is rooted in diversity, justice, equity, and inclusion, reflecting the rich backgrounds and cultures that make up Montgomery County, Maryland. We are committed to community engagement through education and outreach that fosters sustainable, “visibly green” neighborhoods and a healthier environment.
