Join us for a webinar and forum on How the Ag Reserve Can Fight Climate Change with Farm Solar and Carbon Sequestration.

The webinar will include panelists who will share information on topics including – How the Maryland Electric Grid Works and Solars Role; Is Rooftop Solar Enough; Relative Carbon Benefits of Solar vs. Cropland; and Advancements in Pollinator Friendly Habitats and Agrivoltaics.

Panelists include –

Alfred Bartlett, M.D. – Sierra Club, Maryland Chapter,
David Smedick – Sierra Club, Mid-Atlantic Region,
Rob Davis – Director, Center for Pollinators in Energy,
Doug Boucher – Poolesville Green;
Hans Riemer – Montgomery County Councilmember & lead sponsor of ZTA 20-01, which removes the ban on solar in the Ag Reserve.

Presentations will be followed by a Q&A session. Please feel free to submit your question in advance, at the time of registration.

You only need to register once. Zoom details for joining the event will be shared by noon on the same day as the event.
