*Shannon Pederson is an Associate Wildlife Biologist, Lecturer and Academic Advisor at the University of Maryland, College Park where she teaches Field Techniques in Wildlife Management among other courses. Her dissertation research examines how urbanization affects bat species in our area. She has also published articles about learning to live with coyotes in the DC metro area.
