ALL ARE INVITED to join Councilmember Tom Hucker, One Montgomery Green, and Livability Project to discuss how local green businesses and nonprofits are making the most of the circular economy* model.
Reception by Green Plate Catering will be served from 6 – 6:30 pm in the second floor cafeteria and the discussion will follow in the third floor hearing room.
The Council Office Building is located at 100 Maryland Avenue. Visitor parking can be found on the bottom floor of the adjacent parking lot, which is accessible from both Monroe Street and East Jefferson Street.
TOPIC: Circular Economy: Recycle, Reuse, Repair & Share
This discussion will focus on businesses and organizations that are leading the way in efforts to recycle, reuse, repair and share products and services—moving away from the current disposable economy model—to a model that will help conserve resources and sustain communities and consumers in the 21st Century.
