DC EcoWomen Soy Candle Making Workshop

DC EcoWomen is partnering with Relume, a local company that aims to create a more sustainable world through quality, handcrafted home goods, textiles and accessories, to host a DIY Soy Candle Making Class.
Thursday, July 21 • 6 – 8 pm • Teaism in Penn Quarter
Pour your own soy candle with local candlemaker Lilly of Relume. You’ll select your favorite vintage vessel, create a custom scent blend, and top the wax with crushed flower petals and more! Relume will guide you in this unique DIY experience, sending you home with a one-of-a-kind candle (and after burning, the container is ready to re-use). Food and drink will be available for purchase at Teaism.
Event will be held on July 21 at Teaism in Penn Quarter from 6 to 8pm.
The event will cost $25; if you wish to attend but face financial hardship, please contact anaidu@dc.ecowomen.org if a fee waiver is needed.
