Fall is typically a time when most gardens begin to wind down and the floral buffet for pollinators dwindles.  How can you keep the color show going in your backyard right up until frost while providing food sources for insects and wildlife?

This interactive workshop will cover late season blooming perennials, shrubs and grasses that add garden interest during fall and winter. The workshop, taught by RainScapes program staff, will combine an in-class presentation followed by a walking tour of Brookside Gardens to see a range of fall blooming plants up close. Plant lists will focus on native plants and offer late-blooming cultivar options for a variety of garden conditions ranging from dry shade to RainScapes.
