Please join Rock Creek Conservancy, the Alice Ferguson Foundation, and Montgomery Parks for our 2021 EXTREME CLEANUP! This annual event is a watershed-wide cleanup movement with the goal of total trash removal throughout Rock Creek, its tributaries, and surrounding neighborhoods and parklands. We hope you’ll join us!

Activity: Volunteers will participate in a socially-distant trash cleanup as part of Extreme Cleanup.

Please register yourself and each member of your group INDIVIDUALLY. For the health and safety of our volunteers and leaders we cannot accept walk-ups or any groups that do not have all members registered. Thank you for keeping us all safe this cleanup season!

When: Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 10:00am to 12:00pm

Where: Wheaton Claridge Park (meet at the entrance on Claridge Road). An email with directions and safety information will be sent to registered participants prior to the 10th.

What to Wear: Please dress appropriately for the work and weather. Wear long sleeves and sturdy boots or sneakers.

What to Bring: Please bring your own gloves if you can! All volunteers are required to wear a mask for the duration of this cleanup!
