Join DC EcoWomen at DC Vegan for the June Mentor Dinner with special guest, Zainab Mirza on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 from 6 to 8 PM!
Zainab Mirza is the environmental justice associate with the Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office where she advises loan applicants on community benefit plans including on workforce development, stakeholder engagement, and the Justice40 initiative. Previously, Mirza was at the Center for American Progress working on offshore energy transition and Indigenous-led conservation. Mirza also worked with the Clean Energy Business Network advocating on behalf of 5,000 clean energy small businesses across the country. She has served numerous campaigns, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources. Mirza holds a BA in International Studies and Environmental Studies from American University.
