MLK Week of Service: Green Tips: In Service to Our Environment

One Montgomery Green is hosting a range of individual and virtual activities for your day of service in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on January 18th.
“Green” Tips: In Service to Our Environment
Monday, January 18, 11 am – 12 pm
On Monday, Jan. 18th, you can join the OMG Team online for virtual sessions to learn some great sustainability tips to make your home life and our world sustainable.
Lessons will include:
- making your own no-sew face masks, repurposing materials you have at home,
- creating seed starter greenhouses re-using plastic clam-shell containers,
- giving your not-too-worn clothes new life by upcycling them for refreshed use.
We also welcome your ideas on “things we can do” to help our environment and reduce waste. Please join us or send us your ideas ahead of the 18th to info@onemontgomerygreen.org. Thank you!
