Join us for a discussion on Southern Maryland’s struggle with pollution, and how the degradation of the environment is linked to a rise in Public Health issues. Our panelists will examine the negative public health impacts caused by local pollution sources, how traditionally under-served communities are especially vulnerable, and how these underlying problems can put us at risk during a global health crisis. They will also explore ways we can move forward to protect our community and improve our region’s environmental and public health.
