Climate Therapy: Facing the Climate Emergency

As we face catastrophic breakdown of our climate, all of us are dealing with deep fear, grief, anger and other painful feelings. But we don’t have to fear or avoid these feelings!  We can non-judgmentally explore them and let them drive us to effective action.

Join Margaret Klein Salamon, clinical psychologist turned climate warrior, as she explores the emotional & psychological experience of the climate emergency with two renowned figures in the climate world; David Wallace-Wells, New York Magazine deputy editor, columnist, and writer of The Uninhabitable Earth and Mary Heglar, climate justice essayist and Writer-in-Residence at Columbia University’s Earth Institute.

Using themes from Margaret’s brand new book, Facing the Climate Emergency: How to Transform Yourself with Climate Truth (New Society Publishers, April 21, 2020), a radical new self-help book for the climate emergency, we will hear about the emotional side of the climate emergency from two of the movement’s most prominent members.
