Networking Event

Join us for this month’s presentation on the Wheaton Arts Parade preparations and meet some of the artists involved. Individuals and businesses are encouraged to participate and support the parade/festival.

We’ll discuss how businesses could be represented in the parade and festival, and benefit from participating, helping brand Wheaton as an arts destination. Some nearby businesses will benefit from the foot traffic.

The parade will celebrate Wheaton as an Arts & Entertainment District, highlighting local artists and Wheaton’s diverse cultures, commerce, and citizens – Parade the Triangle. The festival follows afterward in Veterans Park.

This is an opportunity to see art that will be in the Wheaton Arts Parade and festival. There have been workshops for puppet-making, masks, and origami in preparation for the parade.

from 10:00 am – Noon; Festival follows until 6:00 pm

• The parade already has large puppets, a float of origami art, wire sculptures, and floats. Einstein High School will be there with dancers, bands and floats.
• Artists and performers of all kinds will parade their work along the edge of the Wheaton Triangle and gather at a community festival in Veterans Park.
• The festival after the parade will have tents and tables where artists can display and sell their work, with music and performances on the festival stage, and food and drink for sale.
